Update: Masking Guidelines for A Step Ahead Physical Therapy

Dear A Step Ahead Client,

We know that many things have been put on hold during this public health crisis, but we are now able to release some restrictions. Using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines, we have updates the guidelines for our practice. We will continue our process of sanitizing common touchpoints throughout the day. The safety of our clients and staff continues to be our priority. We will still follow quarantine guidelines set by the CDC for any positive cases or exposures.

  • Please continue to let us know if you have any symptoms of COVID 19, if you have traveled out of the country or if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive.

  • You no longer need to call on arrival.

  • Our new waiting area is to your right past the bike and treadmill.

  • Hand sanitizer is still available near the door and at the front desk.

  • Masks are now optional in the clinic, and you may request that your therapist wear one if you feel more comfortable.

  • We continue to offer mobile physical therapy and telehealth (virtual) physical therapy should you need to stay home at any time but should not go without a session.

  • If you would like more details on any of this information, please call the office at 770-998-6636 or email us at info@asaphysicaltherapy.com. We look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon!
