BALANCE & FALL PREVENTION

We utilize equipment and develop exercise programs to assist the patient in achieving their goals, whether it is for basic walking or to improve your abilities as an athlete.
 

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 4 older adults reported falling at least once in the pervious year. Falls are the leading cause of injury in adults over the age of 64 and can result in serious injury, loss of independence and death. Falls are largely preventable and your physical therapist can work with you to increase your strength and balance to reduce your fall risk whether you have a history of falls or not.
