About The Event

Coaches, runners, and trainers have conflicting opinions on whether runners should incorporate heavy weight training into their workout program. Will bulk from weight training slow runners down? Should runners weight train with low weight, or not at all? Learn what the best research says about weight training for endurance athletes from Steven Owens, PT, OCS and Dr. David Smelser, PT, DPT. A group 5k will follow.
