Vickie has been active as a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) since joining in 1997. Originally from Connecticut, she served on the Connecticut APTA as a member of the board of directors and Delegation to the House of Delegates, which led to an Emerging Leader Award from the APTA in 2008. While in Connecticut, she was an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Sacred Heart University from 2007-2009. After moving to Georgia in 2009, she was active in PTAG and an alternate to the Delegation. She then became active with APTAMA as a Representative, the chapter Vice President/Speaker and as a Delegate. During her time in Massachusetts, she was also active at her daughter’s school and served as the assistant to her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop. Now that she is back in Georgia she has a goal to again become active in PTAG.

Vickie and her husband Jeff have a 10-year-old daughter and 2 adult daughters. Vickie enjoys swimming, biking, blading, golf, and spending time with family, friends, and their dog Toby.
